SEE Ground is an extension of SEE Network—a local experience-sharing platform that seeks to spark community economic ripples through cultural creativity. May our days be filled with S.E.E. — Sense, Engagement, and Earnings.

Our Story

SEE—standing for Social, Environment, Economy—was Hong Kong's first sustainable development-themed magazine, co-founded by Patsy Cheng and friends in 2004. Two decades on, the magazine has evolved, and SEE Network has since focused on weaving knowledge through research, completing about 100 community and social studies and publishing more than 40 publications.

Every interview was a meeting of hearts, every inquiry a lingering cultural encounter. Through this journey, we have come to know countless individuals across society, and perhaps it is our media-rooted instinct that compels us to share these genuine emotions with others. Yet we have also witnessed how many beautiful things in the community could not be sustained.

Today, we continue to champion “sustainable development”—but with a more direct approach: from connection to practice. Our approach is to actively create bridges between supply and demand, so that “joy can be shared, and costs too.” A balance where everyone contributes, and everyone benefits.

Founded in 2026, SEE Ground is where travellers, researchers, creators, and communities connect through grounded encounters—cultivating a fertile ground for cultural innovation. Together, we transform local wisdom, cultural assets, and community stories into sustainable experiences and collaborations.
